Antique early 1800's hand caved apple wood cherub nude putti statue sculpture

  
Up for sale is a nice quality antique early 19th century hand carved wooden cherub sculpture. It's carved with exquisite detailing out of apple wood and has acquired a lovely patina from age.

The nude cherub is depicted standing by cared foliage and very well done. It measures 8 3/4 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches wide. There are several losses as seen to the arm and to several foliated areas.
